Taverna La Fenice was born and developed in symbiosis with the theater “La Fenice”: The tavern is indeed adjacent to the entrance of the theater from which artists got on the stage.From the foundation of the theater , Taverna La Fenice has been a meeting place, where it is possibile to enjoy a dinner or a cocktail with the background of lyrical songs. The place becomes a restaurant in 1860, but was best known for the corner bar open until late at night.

We take care of weddings, banquets, receptions, cocktails, buffets, dinners, brunches and lunches, suggesting customized menus in perfect harmony with the style chosen on site and ensuring a high quality cuisine. We provide our restaurants Taverna la Fenice and Restaurant Ai Gondoliers, but we are also able to refer you for any Venetian structure, such as Historical Buildings, Ancient Cloisters, open space. Museums and theaters, capable of becoming the ideal setting of your reception.
The Theatre
La Fenice is with its two centuries of history one of the most significant monuments, around which revolved largely of city life. Considered from the foundation of the greatest Venetian theater, La Fenice has in fact maintained a dominant role not only in developing architectural ” modern ” in Venice, but also in the history of taste and fashion who traveled throughout the nineteenth and early twentieth century. The Grand Theatre makes use of our catering service for receptions and gala dinners.
